Hey Everyone, Baron here after so long.
As an artist, that never really got any formal art training or really any chance to flex my art muscles properly until I started college due to my upbringing, it's nice to finally be getting that in school. I am learning a lot of things I would have struggled to learn on my own, which is fantastic. That being said, I am learning of one of the most dreaded things about the process of art becoming a somewhat "career"/"not just a hobby". Which is that it can really drain a person of their art drive to have to do art not just for the sake of one's own drive, but to meet deadlines and for work related reasons.
I end up spending more time playing games or watching videos in my off time than actually drawing. (Which I hope to genuinely fix relatively soon). As someone that has struggled to stay consistently focused on just art due to ADHD, it's been a rough one having anything resembling consistency with my output on art my whole life. That being said, the recent stuff I have been making in my final years in school that allow me to really push what I want to make the most out of art has kind of rekindled a huge spark for me to do more. So here's hoping once and for all I can finally get some level of consistency out.
Especially in the context that now I need to have like... an actual decent sized portfolio, lol.
